Romanesco

Romanesco has to be the strangest-looking veg, don't you think?

Came across it for the first time at the weekend - it's a cross between cauliflower and brocoli but looks like something that's been dragged from the sea:

I think it's quite pretty. Has anyone tasted it?  Verdicts please!
